Success at Scotland’s Trade Fair, September 22 & 23

It’s been busy times at Roelofs & Rubens as we’ve been in full preparation mode for the Scotland Trade Fair. Making sure we stand out from the crowd is a priority, and as a returning exhibitor for the second year, we had some idea of the competition and hard work ahead of us.

Scotland’s Trade Fair Autumn takes place over 2 days from 22nd – 23rd September at Glasgow’s SEC. With over 170 companies exhibiting products in clothing, textiles, jewellery, food, ceramics….there is plenty to look at and inspire buyers. It’s a great platform to showcase your business, so, with a full tank of petrol and a picnic, we set-off for Glasgow to produce a creative space that would wow those trade buyers.

It took every minute of our allocated stand-build-time (and quite a few un-allocated minutes) but when the doors opened on the 22nd we were ready to wow! We met lots of retail buyers and had great conversations. Thank you to everyone who visited the fair and came to our stand and said hi. Order’s were made and friendships renewed.

It’s all over for another year. We took a much needed work break (during the 9 hour drive home) and arrived back in West Woodhay refreshed and ready to get on with producing the most beautiful ceramic decorations you will ever have the delight of hanging in your home.
