We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that came along to our Ceramic Studio Opening on Friday 6th September 2019. It was a day (and evening) to remember, and we were genuinely delighted by the amount of support we have out there by how many people came along.
Inviting people into our studio is exciting and a great way to showcase our handmade and hand decorated hanging decorations, as well as to share the local aspect that all the work is done here, on site, in West Woodhay. Monty hosted regular studio tours throughout the day – these hugely popular tours provided a lovely opportunity for our guests to see first-hand some of the techniques used in the production process of making ceramic decorations.
Staying true to the heritage of Roelofs & Rubens, we served dutch apple cake with tea and coffee, later on nibbles, worstenbroodjes and evening drinks. It was great fun and so busy, that at one point the local vicar helped with the tea’s!
Thank you all so much. It was a very successful opening of the new studio and everyone left well fed and ceramics enthusiasts!
